Ever since dancer and singer JoJo Siwa came out in 2021, she has been honest with her fans about her sexuality — and her dating journey.
"I still don't know what I am. It's like, I want to figure it out," she told People magazine at the time. "I like queer. Technically I would say that I am pansexual because that's how I have always been my whole life is just like, my human is my human."
Since then, JoJo has gone public with two relationships: her ex-girlfriend Kylie Prew, who had an on-again, off-again relationship until their final split in 2022, and her most recent ex, Avery Cyrus.
So, is JoJo dating anyone in 2023? Keep reading to find out.
JoJo Siwa does not currently have a girlfriend, but she did hint at a relationship in 2023.
In April 2023, a few months after her split from Avery, JoJo seemingly hinted she had a new partner in a video she posted to TikTok.
"Happy feelings are meant to be shared," she captioned the video, which shows a series of photos of JoJo with a partner, but the partner is never revealed.
Fans were expectedly happy for the YouTuber, writing, "you deserve all the happiness JoJo" and JoJo's relationships give middle school so hard."
However, JoJo never went public with this relationship.
JoJo has been very open about what she looks for in a partner.
While appearing on The Best Podcast Ever, hosted by Raven-Symoné and her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, JoJo told the couple she hopes to find a love like theirs.
"I just fantasize about having it for myself, like it’s all I want,” she said in August 2023. "I’m such a lover, and I don’t have somebody to love, and I crave it so much."
She also admitted she had not been on a date in six months, but can't wait to have kids — sooner than later.
"The personal side of my life, since I was 12, I can’t wait to be a mom,” JoJo added. “I cannot wait to have babies. I want to have so many. I can’t wait. I feel like I’ll have kids pretty early,"
Recently, Avery called her relationship with JoJo "toxic."
Although she didn't name JoJo, in a video she shared on TikTok, Avery opened up about a past "toxic relationship," and revealed that her ex broke up with her via voice memo after she caught her texting with her ex-girlfriend.
"As soon as I walk through my front door, she sends me a voice memo breaking up with me," Avery explained. "I was freaking distraught, I was not expecting it."
Shortly after, Avery revealed her ex apologized and asked to get back together, which they did.
"From the get-go, the texts were so off, but the whole time she was sending me gifts like cookie cakes, cakes, cupcakes, her hoodie, her jewelry, and I was like, 'Oh maybe it's all just in my head.'" Avery explained.
However, when Avery did confront her about her, her ex asked to just be friends until they saw each other again to "take the pressure off."
"A couple days later she gets caught hanging with her ex," Avery ended the storytime adding, "Keep in mind, this is the same ex that her and her entire family would talk so badly about."
Ultimately, Avery revealed she ended the relationship because she couldn't handle being rejected again.
