While Rachel Fuda only became a Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member in Season 13 of the long-running Bravo series, she was introduced to the group by Melissa Gorga who joined RHONJ in Season 3.

Rachel and Melissa met through their sons, Jaidyn and Gino, and their bond soon became a problem to some of Rachel’s new co-stars, primarily Teresa Giudice.

What happened between Rachel Fuda and Teresa Giudice on ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’?

Teresa and Rachel started filming RHONJ together well. However, towards the end of Season 13, they proved they needed to keep one another at a distance.

In the Season 13 reunion, Rachel and her husband John Fuda accused Teresa and her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, of working with Bo Dietl, a private investigator, to track down John’s ex-wife and his son, Jaidyn’s biological mother, Brittany Malsch.

Teresa and Louie vehemently denied contacting Brittany, though she has since repeated information Brittany shared about John and issues regarding his past arrests.

As the Season 14 trailer showed when it debuted in March 2024, Rachel and John’s feud with Teresa and Louie is set to be another showdown between New Jersey couples.

Although she admitted it was unfortunate that she and Teresa fell out, Rachel exclusively told Distractify that she felt “100 percent” confident the feud would happen due to her ties to Melissa.

“I believe that to be true,” Rachel said. “And I’ve said that since day one of filming.”

Rachel Fuda believes Teresa Giudice is a “bad apple” that needs to be plucked from ‘RHONJ.’

Teresa and Melissa's feud is one of the messiest in Bravo history. After several run-ins, including one at Teresa's wedding in August 2022, they stopped speaking and refused to film together.

The divide will play out in Season 14 in May 2024, which Rachel supports. Initially neutral, Rachel changed her stance amid her feud with Teresa.

In April 2024, Rachel threw shade at Teresa by cropping her co-star out of the cast’s Season 14 promo photo on Instagram, which Melissa swiftly approved.

Rachel’s husband also had a few words for Teresa, calling the OG a “has been” in the Season 14 trailer.

The businessman doubled down on his feelings about Teresa during an episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s Two T’s in a Pod when he stated he was Teresa’s only “storyline” for the new season.

While Rachel didn’t go as far as to repeat her husband’s description of Teresa, she does agree it could be time for her to give up her RHONJ throne.

She shared that a “bad apple” like Teresa affects the relationships within the group and wouldn’t be opposed to seeing changes made to the cast in future seasons.

“I don't even think it's a question of if there should be,” Rachel said of RHONJ bringing “new apples” into the fold. “I think it's needed.”
